cod4The popularity of 3d games in Pakistan is increasing every moment. There was the times when Pakistani's were limited to their PC's. Now when the broadband internet is within most of the people's reach, a number of Pakistani gamers have started playing games online.

 

Call of duty 4 is one of the most successful game of the year, and it has got enough popularity in Pakistan that players are no longer restricted just to their home PC's instead they play online. Currently one of the most popular Call of duty 4 servers in Pakistan is named "WATEEN COD4 ELITE SERVER" (Not confirmed whether this server has been started by Wateen ISP or not). Most of time server is available for the players to come and join in, but there are peak hours as well, from 12 pm to 12 am are mostly peak hours.

Connecting To Server

The server has following IP address 58.27.200.108:28960 , and you can conenct to it using "~" to bring the command line for Call of duty 4 and then using the following command, "connect 58.27.200.108:28960"(without "). If you get any error, keep in mind that following are prerequisites to join the server. First prerequisite is that, you should have PunKBuster installed, a multiplayer cheat detecting system. You can download it by clicking here. The second prerequisite is that you should have Call of duty 4 version 1.7 installed and for patching your game to version 1.7, you have to patch it first to version 1.6. Download these two files:

1) Download COD4 Patch 1.6 Patch your current Call of duty 4 copy with this.

2) Download COD4 Patch 1.7 Patch your 1.6 version of cod4 with this patch.

Now when you have both of these files installed, run Call of duty muliplayer application and enjoy playing Call of Duty 4 muliplayer Online.

Note: If youre using illegal copy of call of duty 4 then you may get "Invalid Disc Inserted" when you try to run both single player as well as multiplayer and i hope most of you guys will be able to fix this problem without scraching your heads.

Its good to hear about wateen servers. But XG servers are on rank 1 in Pakistan now 8) Wateen servers have high latency / ping due to issue of TW (Trans World) with PTCL & 90% gamers use PTCL.
