Call of duty 4 is awsome game when played as single player and 10x awsome when played online. Playing online sometimes may get you banned for a number of reasons from the server you are playing at, different servers got different rules, some will ban you for just kidding around with people in the server and others for abusing others and using obsene language. In this article i am going to discuss how to get unbanned (includes both temporary and permanent) from a server where you were doing something that was really not apreciateable .

Just got banned

You just got banned and received a message from punk buster that "you are banned for 600 minutes" or even worse "you are permanently banned from this server XX SERVER NAME XX". Waiting for 600 mins for you to get unbanned is definately not going to help you. Most of the call of duty servers ban your game CD-KEY, making your copy of game forever banned from your favourite call of duty 4 online server. You may find myths online that Call of duty 4 servers ban your MAC address (either Ethernet/LAN MAC adress or get multiple devices MAC addresses), fortunately these are just myths for most of the servers, but some servers may global ban you, which means no more call of duty 4 or any punk buster enabled online game for your pc.

Permanent bans are due to following reasons:

- Using any kind of hack e.g wall hack, aimbots etc (You cannot apeal for it)
- Testing a hack (You cannot apeal for it)
- Abusing Players (You may or may not be able to apeal for it, depends)

Remedy For Most Of The People

- Download a call of duty 4 CD-KEY generator.
- Generate a CD-KEY.
- Open COD4 Multiplayer application -> options -> multiplayer options -> Change CD-KEY.
- Enter the brand new CD-KEY ( Which is been already under use by 10 million people online).
- It will confirm that "Your Key Appears To Be Valid"
- Connect to your favorite server and enjoy!
- There is no way for getting unbanned from global ban, because Punkbuster use database for global banning people out there, you can try out changing your few hardware devices, for a try(after following above steps), your first target should be your network devices, if changing them does not works, try using some MAC (Machine Access Code) changer software for hardware, hopefully that will work.

 Consequence: Always Bad

If you copy of game is legit then its going to be painful to you because you have to change your CD-KEY from a random call of duty 4 CD-KEY generator. Changing your CD-KEY will also reset all your stats (If you were at Level 55, you are going to start your game from Level 1) and Classes (Weapons and Perks Combo). Doing this will bring you to the same categeory, PIRATES! .  Whenever you go to some online server, most of them would reply back "Key code in use". If ban was global in nature, then you probably have to purchase a new PC as well as copy of call of duty 4, other than that. it will bring joy to many banned people .
