Far Cry 2

"Throw your memory back to the year 2004 and the release of the innovative Far Cry on PC. Developer Crytek managed to fashion one of the most convincing and striking locales in all of gaming, and satisfied gamers with the freedom to pass through the landscape and tackle enemies in almost any way they saw fit. You surely remember Jack Carver and that things where about to get seriously messed up for you ? Well, tough luck. You are no longer at that deserted tropical island yet hop into a jeep and arrive at the sandy savannah surroundings of Africa. And that's a change .. as much as you'll no longer run into any mutants, aliens, or any superpowers or psychic powers. Also -- you are no longer Jack Carver, you assume the role of one of nine different mercenaries who are embedded in the midst of a brutal civil war which rages in a imaginary African nation."

So here we go again, Far Cry 2, its not obcessed with Island this time (Far Cry, Crysis, Crysis Warhead they get annoying because they got island all way) rather the game takes place in African Dusty Lands & you got to kill the warloards. The game also got pretty big requirements:

 Minimum Requirements: Far Cry 2

- Pentium 4 3.2 GHz, Pentium D 2.66 Ghz, AMD Athlon 64 3500+ or better
- 1 GB RAM, DDR I/DDR 2/ DDR 3 Whatever you got, it will work fine
- 6 GB of free hard drive space, but you got to need more
- NVidia 6800 or ATI X1650 or better; must support Pixel Shader 3.0

Recently Guru3d guys did good job with benchmarking plenty of graphics cards out there (most latest and greatest), so check them out here. Probably the best feature of this game is Enhanced lighting features, that completely eat up your graphics card, this is definitely gonna be the next game on which benchmarking for the upcoming graphics cards will take place for some time.Happy playing Far Cry 2!

India-Pak war looming ahead? PDF Print E-mail

It all started from Bombay bombings, no one knows who did it, no proof found that those people were Pakistani but Pakistan did it once again! yay!, whether its New York, Bombay, London or just any place in the world, if you see a retard with AK-47, voila! you don't need any proof or anything else just throw your crime garbage on Pakistan.

Its not new for Pakistan, if you see any news channel (International Channels, CNN/BBC) regularly then you must have encountered, couple of these "blaming Pakistan" kind of cases. Back when Scotland yard killed an innocent South African guy for possible suicide subway attack, Scotland yard representative officer said boldly, "The guy looked like Pakistani". All other London attacks were also linked to Pakistan or Pakistani’s in one way or the other, and the best part is, all without any proof. Just show the bunch of Passport pictures on news channel with country field filled with “Pakistan”, and there you go, you have a couple of terrorists here.

Pakistan’s government whether in past or now has been always like this, they never asked other country’s for any proofs (or they leave matter in the middle allowing other country agencies to put blame on Pakistan). Country’s like Pakistan (3rd world countries) always have couple of bad problems, no accountability, leaders with money slipping problems, no law and order in the country and law protecting leaders from being held into the courts for their acts (obviously before flying to USA, UK). All these reasons leading to bad governance, from start till now Pakistani leaders have almost same attitude toward running country. One may ask the question that “Why, after 50+ years of independence, we are unable to implement Law & accountability in the country?” probably our leaders haven’t got much time after they had fulfilled their hunger for money and land.

The question is whether there is a war looming ahead? Personally, I don’t think it would be a war, at maximum it could be couple of Air-Strikes on strategic places like Army bases, Dams, Air ports or possibly stock exchange, because a full scale war can cost hell lot of money that both of these countries cannot afford. USA will also not encourage India to step into Pakistan right now (maybe some time later) because USA is unable to handle Afghanistan himself. If a full scale war breaks out, then the US and Indian forces will both join together, Pakistan would be the first ally in the world to get beaten down by another ally, “USA”. The possibility of the full scale war is really low, because USA have some unfinished business with Iraq (probably the Oil is not ending up) and their allies are getting their troops out of Iraq one after the other. So, now when you see a fighter plane flying and making sharp turns here and there, consider it an air show, unless you see them dropping something bright.
